GPS Location Tracker by iPlay Store
GPS Location Tracker uses foreground location access to provide coordinates, nearby addresses, distance calculations, location sharing and map routes. We do not operate a server that stores users' GPS coordinates or nearby addresses.
Effective date: August 19, 2026
iPlay Store (“we,” “us,” or “our”) provides the GPS Location Tracker Android application (“the App”). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App accesses, how it is used and the choices available to users.
1. Information the App accesses
Location information
The App may request access to approximate and precise device location while the App is in use. Location access is used to:
- Display the user's current latitude and longitude.
- Find a nearby street address.
- Calculate the direct geographic distance to a destination entered by the user.
- Create a map link for location sharing.
- Open a driving route in a compatible maps or browser application.
The App does not request or access background location. It does not continuously track users after they leave the App.
We do not operate a server that stores users' GPS coordinates, nearby addresses or destination searches. This information is processed temporarily to provide the requested feature.
Android location and geocoding services may process location coordinates or destination queries to return location and address results. The service provider can vary depending on the device and Android implementation.
Information shared by the user
When a user selects Quick Share, the App creates a message containing the current coordinates, nearby address when available and a map link. This information is shared only after the user chooses a destination application through Android's sharing interface.
The selected third-party application processes the shared information according to its own privacy policy.
When a user selects View Driving Route, the App sends the starting and destination coordinates to the maps or browser application selected by the device.
2. Advertising and device information
The App uses Google AdMob to display banner and interstitial advertisements. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect or process information such as:
- Advertising identifiers.
- IP address and approximate location inferred from the IP address.
- Device and account identifiers.
- App interactions and advertisement interactions.
- Diagnostic, performance and crash information.
- Device information.
We do not provide the user's GPS coordinates, nearby address or destination searches to AdMob for advertising or analytics.
Users can reset or delete their Advertising ID through Android device settings. When the Advertising ID is unavailable or disabled, Google may provide limited or non-personalized advertising as applicable.
More information about Google's data practices is available at:
3. Consent and privacy choices
The App uses Google's User Messaging Platform to request and manage advertising consent where required by applicable law.
When privacy options are required for a user, the Settings menu provides a Privacy Options action. Users can use it to review or update their advertising consent choices.
Users can also:
- Deny or revoke location permission in Android settings.
- Use approximate location instead of precise location where supported.
- Reset or delete the device Advertising ID.
- Clear the App's data.
- Uninstall the App.
Some features, including finding current coordinates and a nearby address, cannot function without location permission.
4. Permissions
The App may request or declare the following permissions:
- Approximate location: used to estimate the current location.
- Precise location: used to provide more accurate coordinates, address results and distance calculations.
- Internet access: used for advertising, consent services, geocoding and opening online map routes.
- Network state: used to determine whether network-dependent services are available.
- Advertising ID: used by the advertising SDK for advertising and related measurement purposes.
5. Data sharing
We do not sell users' precise location information.
Information may be processed by third-party service providers only when necessary to provide App features, advertising, consent management, geocoding, map routing or user-requested sharing. These providers process data under their own terms and privacy policies.
6. Data retention and deletion
We do not maintain developer-controlled servers containing users' location coordinates, nearby addresses or destination searches.
Temporary information displayed by the App is removed when it is replaced, the App process is closed, app data is cleared or the App is uninstalled. Advertising and consent providers may retain information according to their respective policies and legal obligations.
Because the App does not provide user accounts, there is no account data requiring a separate account-deletion process.
7. Data security
We use reasonable technical safeguards and rely on Android's permission system to limit access to sensitive information. Internet communication used by supported services is protected through encrypted HTTPS connections where available.
No electronic transmission or storage method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
8. Children's privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, contact us so the matter can be reviewed.
9. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App's features, third-party services, legal requirements or data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when changes are published.
